July 2 @ 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

CTA Event Partner | Geneva Forum on Pooling Interests for Peace and Stability in the DRC

CTA – Commodities Trading Alumni joins the Geneva Forum as Event Partner, reinforcing the forum’s relevance to the international commodities and trading community.

Taking place on 2 July 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, the forum is designed as a high-level, invitation-only gathering bringing together selected participants from the economic, diplomatic, institutional, and policy communities for a focused exchange on the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The programme is structured around three core themes: Economics, Politics, and Security.

The forum will feature the following confirmed speakers:

  • Dorothée Baumann-Pauly — Director, Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights | Adjunct Professor, University of Geneva
  • Hugo Nsundi Zala — Independent Researcher | Economic Intelligence & Public Policy Modelling
  • Mark Assaf — Chief, Human Resources Development Section – TrainForTrade, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD)

CTA’s support reflects the importance of connecting serious policy dialogue with sectors that have a direct interest in commodities, investment, responsible business, and long-term stability in the DRC and the Great Lakes region. As a Geneva-rooted international network connecting more than 1,300 commodity-trading professionals, CTA brings added relevance for participants active across the trading and investment ecosystem.

Attendance is by application and confirmation only. CTA members interested in requesting an invitation are encouraged to contact the organising team through the forum website.
