The University of Geneva’s Master in Commodity Trading, launched in 2008, is an intensive 3 semesters program combining academic rigor with practical experience at trading firms, taught by expert instructors and industry professionals.
The University of Geneva’s Executive Diploma in Commodity Trading, created with the SUISSENÉGOCE, is designed for professionals with experience seeking advanced skills or a career shift, offering flexible formats over one year.

The University of Geneva Master of Science in Commodity Trading was created in 2008 with practicing trading professionals through the SUISSENÉGOCE.
This program is taught in English during an intensive 3 semesters academic course which is combined with a practical part-time job within a commodity trading and finance related firm. This program combines both the academic rigor of a 90 ECTS Master level course with the practical on-the-job experience.
The academic curriculum consists of courses including components of trading; commodity hedging and price risk; as well as commodity finance and financial risk management.
Special attention is paid to select the most experienced professional Instructors and guest speakers. The aim is to provide our students with the highest academic standards and select professional lecturers known for their in-depth knowledge & expertise in a particular domain. To complete the learning experience, practicing professionals from the industry are invited to share their current experience and expose participants to practical considerations and examples. This is a very powerful mix between theory and practice.

GSEM Executive, University of Geneva and SUISSENÉGOCE have joined together to create this Diploma in Advanced studies of Commodity Trading. This program was created for working professionals, and the diploma program best fits the demands of professionals wishing to study while working.
If you already have three years of work experience and you wish to strengthen or acquire new skills, then the Executive Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Commodity Trading is what you are looking for! The DAS program has two formats: biweekly classes as well as a block format program. Both these programs run over a year.
